Major Crops in Spain

You never really think about it. But somewhere in the world, sunflowers are indeed a crop. One of those places is located right outside Spain. On our way home from Sevilla on this last trip we stopped to take some pictures, so here they are:



It was awesome. And I learned something: Sunflowers (contrary to popular belief) always point away from the sun.

sunflowers are also crops in ND. My grandpa didn't farm them, but many of his neighbors did. It is interesting to see a field full of them.
